It is with a lot of exuberance that I announce that http://www.thehotreportonline.com/ has been launched this evening. This project was long, and very satisfying, and a great learning experience. This project at times felt a little like it was never going to end, and go live but alas today is has been moved over to the live production server. There are some very interesting design challenges on this site, the use of the content as the actual subnavigation was interesting because the site's owners didn't always have the same number of stories in each section. Again, I was lucky to work along side Christian from Krona Design, his design was simple, clean and elegant. In the end I was able to leverage imagecache, cck and views to take a printed fashion newsletter and convert it to a fully functional, fashion focused, Drupal powered, online newsletter that supports community features.
